Movie Description In a drab French suburb just outside of Paris, 17-year-old Vincent (Julien Baumgartner) attends high school, where he is a swimming star with his sights set on college. He's dating pretty Noemie (Julia Maraval). He's also gay, but he hasn't told anyone. Enter Benjamin, a new, openly gay student. He identifies Vincent's true leanings right away, the two of them begin spending time together, and popular Vincent is outed by association. His once adoring classmates turn hostile, changing his formerly idyllic high school into a den of shame and humiliation. Darkly comic, yet realistically bleak in its handling of the social difficulties faced by gay teens, Vincent Molina's screenplay coaxes natural performances from the film's fresh young actors. This critically acclaimed production was originally produced for French television.
