Movie Description
In this working-class comedy set among the community of Sephardic Jews living in Paris' garment district, a man named Eddie Vuibert is hired by a fabric dealer who mistakenly thinks Eddie is Jewish. Recognizing a golden opportunity when he sees it, Eddie can't let him find out the truth. He won’t rest in his madcap, trial-and-error quest of learning every custom and quirk of the community until he knows them all like the back of his hand. This sociopolitical satire from director Thomas Gilou was a smash hit at the French box office.
