Synopsis
One of Beckett's last published works, WORSTWARD HO is an elliptical masterpiece, a prose poem of absurdist wordplay, rhythmic brilliance, and existential savagery. It perfectly distills Beckett's artistic philosophy, and contains his familiar themes of striving, futility, hope, angst, despair, meaninglessness, and coal black comedy. WORSTWARD HO is famous for the lines "Try again. Fail again. Fail better."
