Synopsis Busy trying to deal with his many fears and his troubled feelings for his dead mother, ten-year-old Blaze has his life changed when he meets the boisterous and irresistible Joselle., Unhappy that her mother has sent her to stay with her grandmother for the summer, 9-year-old Joselle takes her anger out on Blaze, a shy neighborhood boy whose mother has died. Blaze, also 9, is confused when he sees his mother's name and the word "orphan" spelled out with stones on a nearby mountainside. Not knowing that Joselle is the one who performed this deed, Blaze forges a friendship with her.
