Synopsis With a glitter-encrusted white background serving as snow blanketing the forest, and a staggering array of animals popping out of the pages, Robert Sabuda has created yet another incredible pop-up marvel. All the animals are made of crisp white paper, surrounded by a wintry woodland medley of blues, greens, browns, and even silver and lilac. The book opens with an owl swooping down to investigate some mice. Soon a family of foxes leaves their den as a rabbit jumps from bushes, and a bear fishes for breakfast in a shining silver river. Robert Sabuda is also the creator of many other pop-ups, including ENCYCLOPEDIA PREHISTORICA and ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
