Movie Description
While it is well-documented that the infant Moses was sent down the Nile and rescued by the Pharoh's daughter, it is often forgotten that Hershel, another infant, was sent down the same path on the same morning. Unfortunately for him, Moses gave him a nudge which caused him to slip by the Pharoh's daughter unnoticed. So who was truly the chosen one? Dudley Moore stars as the adult Herschel, who goes on a quest to find his place in the grand scheme of things. Also starring Laraine Newman, Richard Pryor, Madeline Kahn, and Jack Gilford, WHOLLY MOSES! was directed by sometime Saturday Night Live conspirator, Gary Weis (THE RUTLES: ALL YOU NEED IS CASH).
