Movie Description Alan Alda plays against type as cutthroat advertising executive Dan Cutler, who organizes a whitewater-rafting business trip meant to inspire male bonding between his employees and clients. But when the raft capsizes and several of the men turn up dead, Cutler attempts to cover up his negligence in the face of a lawsuit by one of the widows--forcing his young protege and accident survivor Jack Robbins (Peter Gallagher) to choose between loyalty and the truth. Based on a true story, this taut thriller blends the action, drama, and courtroom genres into a chilling indictment of corporate culture.
Synopsis A true story provided the inspiration for this dramatic and
exciting adventure film.
A pleasure trip down the Chilko River turns disastrous when a white-water raft capsizes, leaving its occupants at the mercy of the raging waters. Now the rafters must fight for their lives -- and hope they can reach safety before one of them perishes in the merciless river.
