Synopsis Forensic anthropologist Gideon Oliver's well-earned relaxation at a Hawaii cattle ranch is interrupted by the discovery of a set of skeletal remains, believed to be that of the ranch owner's uncle, Magnus Torkelsson, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances 10 years ago. As Oliver works to make a positive identification of the remains, he and his friend, FBI agent John Lau, also struggle to make sense of the tangled history of the Torkelsson family. This is the 12th installment in a series.
