In this biopic, fans can watch the meteoric rise--and equally epic fall--of Darby Crash, the lead singer of punk band the Germs. In 1970s Los Angeles, Darby (Shane West) creates the Germs, even though his fellow band members have little experience with their instruments. Joined by Pat Smear (Rick Gonzales), Lorna Doom (Bijou Phillips), and Don Bolles (Noah Segan), Darby rules the punk world, but drugs soon dethrone him and the band, and Darby resorts to suicide. WHAT WE DO IS SECRET enlists Darby's band mate Smear as its executive music producer.
