This classic tale of a love affair that defies class barriers was originally written by acclaimed author Leo Tolstoy. Katusha (Anna Sten) and Dmitri (Fredric March) enjoyed a young romance, but when the latter returns from his service in the military, a question of status hangs over their heads. Dmitri is a prince in the Russian royal family, while Katusha is from far more humble beginnings. With their relationship strictly forbidden they have to find a way to be together, but after Katusha is sent to prison, Dmitri must risk everything to rekindle the affair. A poignant, moving drama WE LIVE AGAIN is a remarkable piece of work from director Rouben Mamoulian.
