Walker Payne (Jason Patric) is a good man in a bad spot; just out of prison, unemployed, and recently divorced, he lives for his loyal dog and his two loving daughters. When his ex-wife threatens to keep him from seeing his children if he doesn't pay support, however, Payne must decide how far he'll go to get the cash.
