Movie Description
Captain Ralls (John Wayne) is a ship's captain in the South Seas who is in a rivalry with Dutch shipping magnate Mayrant Sidneye (Luther Adler from 1950's version of D.O.A.) over money and the woman he loves, Angelique Desaix (Gail Russell). The end reward is the gold carried by the shipping vessel, the Red Witch.
Synopsis
In the East Indies, a wealthy Dutch shipping tycoon and a hardened American sea captain compete (in the inimitable John Wayne style!) for women, gold and pearls in this rollicking adventure film.
