Synopsis When aliens arrive on earth, they claim to come in peace -- but that soon turns out to be far from the truth. Disguised to look just like us, they are actually reptile-like creatures out to strip the earth of its water supply and turn humans into food. Although most people are fooled by the visitors and allow the planet to be taken over by the fascistic monsters, a group of resistance fighters try to defeat these creatures. Helping the underground movement is a journalist who figures out just what the aliens are up to.
Film Notes Not to be confused with Thomas Pynchon's famous novel of the same name. This mini-series, which has nothing to do with Pynchon's book, was written by director/producer Kenneth Johnson.
Followed by one sequel, "V: The Final Battle," and a television series.
