Movie Description Off-beat drama about a woman who inadvertently stumbles into the lives of a pair of Siamese twins, Francis and Blake Falls. As Francis grows even more ill, the concept that the two might have to be separated threatens to break their bizarre, personal bond. Interesting debut from the Polish Brothers, real life twins (though not Siamese).
Industry Reviews "...[A] compulsively watchable film....Funny, tender and haunting..." Travers
"...An eerily effective film....TWIN FALLS IDAHO has style, gravity and originality to spare. It's a film that dwells as hauntingly on loneliness as it does on never actually being able to be alone..." New York Times - Janet Maslin (06/30/1999)
"...A charming romantic fable about alienation, otherness and love....An accomplished contemporary fairy tale..." -- 4 1/2 out of 5 stars Box Office - Ray Greene (04/01/1999)
"...Sensitive and decidedly offbeat....The brothers are as persuasive behind the camera as in front of it, and Michael's careful direction of Hicks yields from her a most promising debut performance..." Los Angeles Times - Kevin Thomas (07/30/1999)
4 stars out of 5 -- "It's a story tinged with sadness and the want for acceptance, and ultimately the prospect of whether one can overcome insurmountable loss." Ultimate DVD - Simon Edwards (09/01/2006)
