Movie Description
Determined to win back her husband, Freddy (Craig T. Nelson), outrageously wealthy Beverly Hills housewife Phyllis Nefler (Shelley Long) becomes the leader of her daughter's Wilderness Girls troop.Though she's more accustomed to Gucci bags than sleeping bags, Phyllis is determined to show Freddy that she is the same energetic and resourceful woman that he fell in love with...but she never realized that proving her devotion would require her to touch dirt and bugs! This outlandish comedy also features cameos by the likes of Robin Leach, Pia Zadora, Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Dr. Joyce Brothers, and Cheech Marin.
Synopsis
Light family comedy about the mishaps of a bored Beverly Hills housewife, soon to be divorced, who decides to volunteer as den mother to the neighborhood Wilderness Girls to boost her self-esteem and make her daughter proud of her.
