Movie Description In this made-for-television thriller, a veteran storm chaser Jake Thorn (played by everyone's favorite chainsaw wielding hero, Bruce Campbell) and his former meteorology professor race against time and the elements in the Texas Panhandle to try and place an experimental device in the path of a tornado. Meanwhile, a sexy investigator from the National Accounting Office is looking to pull the plug on the entire project if they can't convince her it will work.
Synopsis When Warren Branson wants to compile important tornado research, he turns to his buddy Jake Thorne, a tough stormchaser with a unique knack for sensing when the next big one will strike.
Branson has just invented a unique machine that can figure out the actual strength of a tornado. By placing it in the path of an approaching twister, he should be able to get an accurate reading. To accomplish the task, Branson relies on Jake to tell him when the storm will strike. However, an obstacle to the plan arrives in the form of Samantha Callen, a government official determined to cut all of Branson's funding.
But when Callen gets to know Jake, his grandfather and the other stormchasers, she realizes that stopping their valuable work might not be such a wise idea after all.
