Though it only lasted for one season, the CBS television series THRESHOLD made a splash with its thrilling blend of CSI-influenced crime drama and the supernatural sci-fi of shows like THE 4400. When the U.S. Navy discovers an alien spacecraft in the Atlantic Ocean, National Security Adviser J.T. Baylock (Charles S. Dutton) turns to contingency specialist Dr. Molly Anne Caffrey (Carla Gugino), who quickly recruits a highly skilled investigative team--microbiologist Nigel Fenway (Brent Spiner), physicist Lucas Pegg (Rob Benedict), mathematician and linguist Arthur Ramsey (Peter Dinklage), and covert operative Sean Cavennaugh (Brian Van Holt)--to prepare for the worst case scenario: a possible alien invasion.
