Movie Description When Alex (Lara Flynn Boyle, TV's THE PRACTICE) arrives at college, she is surprised to find that the school computer has accidentally assigned her to share a dorm room with two men--vulgar, macho Stuart (Stephen Baldwin, THE USUAL SUSPECTS), and gentle, cerebral Eddie (Josh Charles, DEAD POET'S SOCIETY). As they get used to each other's company, they find that they actually enjoy spending time together. Eventually, they also find themselves forming an atypical love triangle. Director Andrew Fleming's (THE CRAFT) youth comedy focuses more on conversation than skin, and deals with sexual identity in a funny, sensitive manner.
Synopsis Thanks to Alex's boyish-sounding name and a computer error, the university housing office mistakes her for a male student and assigns her to a men's suite.
Since life has given her lemons, Alex is going to make lemonade. Shortly after moving into her dorm room she develops a sexual longing for handsome, brainy suite-mate Eddy. But super-hunk Stuart, Alex's other suite-mate, has been trying to seduce her. Things really get complicated when Eddy begins to experience a sexual awakening, and discovers he's attracted to Stuart. Before long the whole affair is so messy, the threesome will have to find some way to resolve their lust filled triangle in order to maintain their friendship.
Film Notes "Threesome" was shown at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival.
