Film Notes
Originally shot and presented in Cinerama.
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm collected and rewrote a wide variety of German folktales in the early to mid-1800s (as well as writing dictionaries and scholarly studies of the German language). Their fairy tale compilations were first translated into English in 1912, and thereafter their work became popular throughout the world.
