Synopsis
Sidney Lumet directed this soulful adaptation of the famous WIZARD OF OZ. Diana Ross is Dorothy in Motown's film version of the hit Broadway musical. In addition to the array of R&B stars fleshing out the well-worn roles of Dorothy and friends, the chorus features the vocal talents of Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, Cissy Houston, Gwen Guthrie, and more. Both the stage play and the film are based on Frank Baum's loved classic book THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ.
