Movie Description
A widow deals with the resentment her young son feels toward his new stepfather in this tale of love and family. When twelve-year-old Christopher's mother Sarah marries the man who accidentally killed her husband, the young boy, out of resentment seeks comfort in the unconditional love from a wild pony. When Sarah refuses her son to have anymore contact with the animal her new husband, seeking approval from Christopher, decides to purchase the pony against her wishes. The drama unfolds when the pony increasingly becomes the link between trust and family togetherness.
Synopsis
"Wild Pony" chronicles the relationship between a young boy and his horse. The child does not get along with his new stepfather. He finds solace only in his pet pony.
