Each chapter opens with a section of scripture as the basis for nurturing some aspect of the Godly life. Olford examines eight areas: sinfulness, forgiveness, holiness, Christ-centeredness, yieldedness, spirit-fullness, activeness and alertness. For example, Olford's reflections on sinfulness are guided by biblical passages from James 4:13-17 and Galatians 5:16-23. Each chapter contains questions for further study.
