As a 20-year-old, the young Alexander set his heart on ruling the world, and he came as close to it as anyone is ever likely to get. Flattening lesser armies who dared to stand in his way, Alexander lead his troops across the world, bringing a huge portion of it under his reign. He ultimately perished at the tender age of 32, with a vast empire layed out before him. THE TRUE STORY OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT draws on reenactments of the story, culled from a welter of knowledge amassed by scholars over the years. Enchanting and historically absorbing, this is a great way to learn about one of the world's most notorious figureheads.
