Movie Description Two entertaining adventure movies are collected here. In the enjoyable caper THE SWISS CONSPIRACY, filmed entirely on location in Zurich, Swiss bankers hire American ex-U.S. Treasury agent Christopher (David Jannsen)--an aging but virile guy who wears his wide-collar polyester shirt open to show his graying chest hair--to find out who's blackmailing them. Senta Berger is his attractive Swiss love interest; a gracefully aging Ray Milland plays the worried bank president; and Elke Sommer and John Saxon show up in quality shady roles. There are lots of chases, fistfights, and shoot-outs amid the alpine scenery, all set to an irresistible funk-fusion score by Klaus Doldinger (DAS BOOT). The plot of this conspiracy has more holes than the cheese that bears its name, but as 1970's-style action kitsch, it's also a lot of fun.
In Sergio Martino's action-packed 1989 war movie CASABLANCA EXPRESS, Nazi paratroopers attempt to hijack Winston Churchill's train. Francesco Quinn and Jason Connery (sons of Anthony and Sean, respectively) star, along with Glenn Ford and Donald Pleasence.
