Picking up where the Emmy-nominated miniseries THE STARTER WIFE left off, this USA series stars Debra Messing (WILL & GRACE) as Molly Kagan, the ex-wife of a powerful Hollywood mogul. Now that she’s a single mother without a fixed spot in the L.A. social order, Molly relies on her friends--recovering alcoholic Joan (Judy Davis) and interior designer Rodney (Chris Diamantopoulous)--and her writerly ambitions to carve out a fabulous new life for herself. The debut season of the popular dramedy follows Molly as she struggles to establish financial independence, copes with PTA politics at her daughter’s private school, and tiptoes back into the dating pool.
