Movie Description
Rod La Rocque stars as Lamont Cranston in this second spine-tingling feature based on classic radio serial THE SHADOW. Released in 1938, INTERNATIONAL CRIME has Cranston as a newspaper reporter rather than an anonymous avenger, and trades some of the original series' noirish atmosphere for wisecracks; but it remains a solid entertainment in the vein of the THIN MAN series.
In MR. MOTO'S LAST WARNING--one of the best, and last, of the MR. MOTO detective series of the 1930s--the great Peter Lorre plays the Japanese sleuth to the hilt, as he attempts to outwit saboteurs determined to blow up a French fleet at the Suez Canal.
