Synopsis Odge Gribble, a young hag, joins an old wizard, a gentle fey, and a giant ogre on a journey from their magical island kingdom to London through a tunnel which opens every nine years for nine days, to try and rescue the young prince who had been stolen as an infant nine years before., The secret doorway on Platform 13 of London's abandoned train station opens only every nine years for only nine days. This doorway connects the city of London with a magical island where humans and all sorts of mythical creatures live in harmony. However, during the last few minutes of the last of those nine magical days in 1983, a horrible human woman kidnaps the baby prince of the island and takes him away with her to London. Nine years later the agonized king and queen of the island send their team of experts (a wizard, a fairy, a one-eyed giant, and a young hag) to London to find and return the kidnapped prince. Will they succeed before the nine days are up or will they too be shut off from their homeland for nine long years?
