No it's not a Tina Fey comedy record but the actual words and voice of Sarah Palin, barnstorming the country as John McCain's vice-presidential running mate during the 2008 election campaign. Whatever else one may say about Ms. Palin, she definitely isn't dull, with her unorthodox syntax, instantly recognizable voice, and vivid presence. So this one-off compilation (let's hope it's the only one) is actually pretty entertaining and not only for Palin haters. It also makes for a fascinating document (or cautionary lesson) of modern political campaigns in general, as in the things some politicians will do and say on the trail. Not to be forgotten, Joe the Plumber is also acknowledged for his contribution to the political moment.
