Hip-hop icon Tony Touch has been a b-boy since the age of 15, and by 1991 his mix tapes had won him international fame. On THE PIECE MAKER, his first commercial mix tape, the turnout of artists collaborating with Touch is a tribute to his skills and the respect he commands within the hip-hop community. Tracks like "Basics," from Prodigy of Mobb Deep, "The Abduction," from GZA, RZA, Masta Killah, Inspectah Deck & Ghostface Killah, and "Pit Fight," including Greg Nice & Psycho Les of the Beatnuts, are instant street classics. The old-school "Class of '87" features Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap & KRS-One, while other guest MC's include Eminem ("Get Back"), D.I.T.C ("The Club"), Gang Star ("The Piece Maker"), and Flipmode Squad ("Set It on Fire"). Touch uses his mix skills to make THE PIECE MAKER one of the better mix/compilation albums to come out in a while.
