Synopsis
This cheery picture book is aimed at creating a greater understanding of children’s peanut allergies. Grant is new to school, and his classmates are horrified when they discover he can’t eat peanut butter without a life-threatening allergic reaction. The teachers invent the fabulous Peanut-Free Café, which features fun lunch-hour movies without the time-honored grade-school staple. Simon, who eats only four things for lunch and can’t begin imagine going without his daily bagel slathered with peanut butter, is at a total loss. Will he ever join his friends at the café?
