Synopsis Brilliant neurosurgeon Jessie Copeland is experiencing the greatest success of her career. A high-tech surgical robot called ARTIE (Assisted Robotic Tissue Incision and Extraction) recently saved the life of a star Olympic gymnast, and Jessie is now in charge of refining the modern life-saving device. Jessie's dream opportunity, however, soon turns into a nightmare when a terrorist known as "the Mist" materializes at the hospital, holds the staff and patients hostage, and demands that ARTIE take away his brain tumor, or else. With the help of a willing CIA agent, Jessie must decide what it's worth to keep a murderous madman alive.
