Movie Description A United States Army sergeant unknowingly gets involved in a subversive plot while transporting a prisoner back to the U.S. from West Germany. But the prisoner escapes and the sergeant is joined by his ex-wife to clear his name and recapture this mysterious man.
Synopsis After bungling an important security detail in Europe, Army officer Johnny Gallagher is assigned to escort a soldier to trial. After being jumped by thugs in a washroom, allowing the prisoner to escape, he begins to suspect that he has stumbled onto something big. He's not sure who's behind it, or why, but one thing's for sure: they're out to get him before he figures it out.
Film Notes "The Package" (1989) is the first collaboration between director Andrew Davis and actor Tommy Lee Jones, followed by "Under Siege" (1992) and "The Fugitive" (1993).
