Synopsis Two women--a lawyer named P.J. Purdue and her client, whom she has helped escape custody--are travelling around the country, robbing men and then leaving them handcuffed and naked for the police to find. Forensic anthropologist Elizabeth MacPherson has been apprised of the case by her brother, Bill, who is an old friend of P.J.'s. From the mental hospital where she has been staying since the disappearance of her husband Cameron, Elizabeth follows the case of the PMS Outlaws.
