Similar to Rod Serling's TWILIGHT ZONE, THE OUTER LIMITS is a show that weaves a dramatic narrative around some fantastical events. Six episodes from the show are collected here. Among them are "I, Robot," which stars Leonard Nimoy as an attorney taking on the unusual task of defending a killer robot; "The Hunt," which sees a bunch of androids turning on some humans who are hunting them; "Resurrection," in which androids attempt to revive a specimen from a long extinct species--the human race; "The Camp," a show which features a future world where humans are held captive by aliens, but plan to make a last, desperate bid for freedom; "Glitch," in which an android, who believed he was human, learns of his true identity; and lastly, "Small Friends" sees the ingenious invention of an imprisoned scientist co-opted by a devious fellow inmate.
