Movie Description
In the hilarious and cringe-worthy fourth season of THE OFFICE, Ryan "The Temp" Howard (B.J. Novak) moves up to the Dunder Mifflin corporate headquarters, sweethearts Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) go public with their long-awaited romantic relationship, and Dwight (Rainn Wilson), salesman geek extraordinaire, bristles as his ex-girlfriend, Angela (Angela Martin), is wooed away by the obnoxious Andy (Ed Helms). Of course, overseeing it all is self-proclaimed "World's Greatest Boss," Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell with a terrific obliviousness that rings painfully true to cubicle dwellers everywhere. Fresh from an Emmy win for Outstanding Comedy Series, the 2007-08 season of the workplace mockumentary delves even further into the tedium of daily office life, including the company's struggle to enter the "digital age," the production of a local TV commercial, and the constant threat of a bored-employee insurrection. This volume also follows Michael's out-of-control relationship with the increasingly unstable Jan (Melora Hardin), culminating in a bitterly hysterical dinner party that many in the office are forced to endure.
