Walter Matthau delivers a pair of "odd couple" performances in this double feature of FIRST MONDAY IN OCTOBER and (surprise!) THE ODD COUPLE II (1998). In FIRST MONDAY, Jill Clayburgh plays the first woman admitted to the Supreme Court and soon finds herself in a friendly rivalry with a liberal colleague (Matthau). In THE ODD COUPLE II, fussy Felix and sloppy Oscar head out on a road trip for their children's wedding.
