Synopsis
A young mother, blond and pretty, disappears without a trace from her South Boston home, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter as the only witness and her handsome, secretive husband as the prime suspect., When a young mother is murdered in her bed, the woman's husband becomes the primary suspect. The couple seemed to live a perfectly normal life--loving parents of a precocious four-year-old living in a quiet, residential neighborhood in South Boston. But as Detective D. D. Warren begins to investigate, the family's life slowly reveals itself to be not so normal. In the wake of his wife's death, the husband certainly is acting strangely, but does that mean he's the murderer? And will anyone know for sure until another life is lost?
