Synopsis
Husband-and-wife team Kelly and Tincknell provide a noir mystery about a pig and his goose wife lured to the house of Dr. A. Hunter (a hungry wolf) for a weekend of feasting. The host is supposedly out of town, but watches the couple on surveillance equipment as they dine on victuals served by a pair of robotic arms. Hints of their fate are everywhere: cookbooks for bacon and pork line a shelf while paintings of gory hunting scenes with wolves line the walls, a portrait's eyes follow them relentlessly, and an immense pie-making machine stands in the backyard disguised as a bandstand. The enormous device eventually crushes the wolf into pie filling and he's devoured in an all-wolf picnic (the other wolves think they're eating a pork and goose pie) while the happy couple return home none the wiser. Full-color digital art accompanies the text., Mr. and Mrs. Pork-Fowler are invited to spend a weekend of gourmet dining at a spooky castle where their host, Mr. Hunter, is anxious to "meat" them.
