THE MUMMY RETURNS ups the action ante with massive battle sequences and lush special effects as O'Connell continues his battles with the power-hungry Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo). The final chapter in the collection, THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR, replaces Rachel Weisz with Maria Bello, but the third film hasn’t lost any of the saga’s action or energy.
