A missionary who is trying to save the souls of prostitutes admits an ever increasing number of them into his "private fold." soon the priest's "Mission" looks more like a brothel.
Synopsis
In a low-key satire of the clergy and missionaries, in 1906, a British missionary returns from Africa for re-assignment after being away ten years, and to marry a childhood sweetheart. Instead, he is recruited by his Bishop to start a missionary in London for ladies of the evening. It succeeds so well that other Christian sects doing the same thing fail and he is asked to cease his activities or leave the clergy.
