Movie Description
When an attractive, rich widow comes to the Kingdom of Marshovia to honor her late husband, the deeply in debt, Marshovia, schemes to find a husband for the blonde beauty, as well as a home for her money. Synopsis
This third big-screen version of "The Merry Widow" bolsters the story's appeal through the glamorous pairing of Lana Turner and Fernando Lamas.
A handsome dignitary from a mythical land courts a wealthy, joyous widow in the hopes that she will wed him and, in turn, rescue his nation from insolvency.
