Movie Description
A New York City homeless man becomes a huge purple superhero when he travels into his netherworld, The Outback, fighting evil in both worlds. The first thirteen episodes of MTV's animated series based on Sam Kieth's comic book are combined in this feature-length program.
Synopsis
This MTV animated series is a bizarre excursion into the otherwordly adventures of a creature called The Maxx.
Maxx lives in two worlds: in the City, he is a homeless man who seeks help from freelance social worker Julie Winters; but in the colorful Outback, Maxx is a powerful superhero and Julie's the Jungle Queen.
Together, Julie and Maxx fight evil and try to figure out which universe is real and which is imaginary.
