Movie Description
First aired in 1962, five years after the end of the historic I LOVE LUCY, THE LUCY SHOW featured the return of the popular red-headed comic to the small screen. THE LUCY SHOW featured Lucille Ball as Lucy Carmichael, a recent divorcee who discovers a new life after the end of her marriage. Like her earlier program, THE LUCY SHOW featured Ball at her wacky best, and it was common to have celebrity guest stars (many of whom were Ball's friends in real life) join Lucy on the program. This volume features eight episodes: "Lucy and Phil Silvers," "Lucy Gets Jack Benny's Account," "Lucy's Substitute Secretary," "Lucy and the French Movie Star," "Lucy the Star Maker," "Lucy and Robert Goulet," "Lucy and Paul Winchell," and "Lucy Goes to London."
