Movie Description
As usual Bob Hope is up to his ears in trouble when he takes to the racetrack and gives a mobster a bad tip. Suddenly he's on the run trying to escape the law, the mob and a trigger-happy partner. His only hope? A phony Santa Claus scam.
Synopsis
A race-track tipster known as "The Lemon Drop Kid" mistakenly gives a gangster's moll a bad tip on a dog, costing her ten thousand dollars. The gangster is understandably upset about this and orders the Kid to pay up, forcing him to plot an elaborate Christmas-time con game to raise the funds.
