Synopsis
John Lescroat launches a new series and introduces San Francisco homicide detective Devin Juhle and Wyatt Hunt, a former caseworker at Child Protective Services who now runs a private investigation agency called the Hunt Club. In their separate ways, Juhle and Hunt are investigating the murder of a married judge and his much younger waitress girlfriend. The stakes get higher when Juhle links the judge to Hunt's crush, lawyer/TV personality Andrea Parisi, who vanishes just after she and Hunt have sex for the first time. But is Parisi a suspect...or a victim?
