Movie Description
The History Channel presents this two-and-a-half-hour documentary that goes behind the headlines of this infamous first strike against the United States in 1941. Archival footage is combined with personal recollections by both American and Japanese forces, additionally rounded out by commentary from historians. Also included in the package is a documentary look at Admiral Chester Nimitz, who was instrumental in rebuilding the destroyed United States Navy to fighting strength.
