Industry Reviews "Juster...crafts a cozy portrait...in this endearing book, illustrated in paint box colors by Raschka....." (02/21/2005)
"Juster adopts the voice of the child, whose present-tense narration is just right, describing pleasures...and perils...with a steady, sweet candor. Raschka's mixed-media illustrations are characteristically loose and energetic...with jewel tones and extravagant swirls." (03/01/2005)
"There is a delightful dose of preschooler ego...that is perfectly matched by Raschka's chaotically uninhibited paintings, which similarly evoke a kid-centered world." Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books (07/01/2005)
"[An] honest portrayal of a child's perceptions...and emotions...Raschka's swirling lines, swaths, and dabs of fruity colors seem especially vibrant...." Booklist (03/15/2005)
