Synopsis While investigating a series of gruesome murders, a policemen runs into a Hungarian gypsy who seems to exist in a kind of no man's land between the "real" world and realms of magic. This is a collaboration between Megan Lindholm (now better known by her pen name, Robin Hobb) and Steven Brust, loosely based on a song-cycle by Brust and Adam Stemple, who was in a folk-rock band with Brust.
