After Jennifer Weiner's short story "The Guy Not Taken" ran in Glamour, Weiner's publisher asked for more of her short stories: the result is a collection of scraps and treats from the chick-lit queen. In most of them damaged young women fight back with wit and verve against the indignities of love and family.
