Synopsis
A novel celebrating the joys of female friendship, FRIDAY NIGHT KNITTING CLUB is set in a tiny knitting shop in New York City. Georgia Walker, the shop's proprietor, has formed a tight little community with an eclectic collective of fellow knitters. When the father of Georgia's teen daughter wants back into her life, Georgia must lean on her knitting club for moral support. Jacobs gives a unique backstory to each knitter, and a bit of attention to each woman's personal woes, making for a layered story-line reminiscent of HOW TO MAKE AN AMERICAN QUILT.
